Well it wasn't really about religion. More about the logic of a story. As for "great engineer," here's one.
If as we know humans wrote the genesis story, then they would write based on how they spoke and wrote. An smart god would know this you'd think. Therefor, when the words light and dark are used do you think he'd mean as they(humans) thought, or as he(god) thought. Remember talking as if it were as he thought, is like Einstein relating the theory of relativity to a 3 year old, and then torturing him for not understanding the concept the next day.
There goes that "brilliant scientist and engineer" idea.

Well, God is a physician. the universe is an elaborated experience. I believe that humans werent part of the inicial plan. Let alone, what would happen next..
So, everything we say or writte abbout him, is just our imagination.
I can accept that over what else has been said. Again, perfect engineer?
I know not!
As far as I know, yes. Everything works just fine in the universe. The equlibrium kept beetween the major forces in the universe shows that it would take a "perfect engineer" to create them.
Again, Im not talking about people and society. God doesnt really care avbout us that much, and we dontcare about him that much. we just use him as a figure or a scapegoat..
Oh yeah, I remember hearing about this.
Darkness was never evil. It was associated as evil by humans because back then, you didn't have streetlights and such, and the nighttime was a danger from all the animals and threats you couldn't see.
Who ever said that darkness is evil? A human thought.
Think you're missing the point of the topic. You are exactly right. It IS a human thought that darkness is associated with evil. Guess who wrote the book of any genesis you read? HUMANS!!!! Therefor, when they write light and dark, the association of good and evil also exist in metaphor. If there was no light nor heaven at one point, then one can assume that darkness or nothingness existed. Therefor one can also assume that the creator of light and heaven might also have been created.
Again, this assuming that god wasn't stupid enough to relate ideas that were completly over the heads of those he supposedly created for his own pleasure. Again, darkness has always been associated with evil. At some points and in some places this does not happen, but looking at many early human ideals, the dark has always been associated this way.
Before the light there was nothing. This was before everything and the creator. Who was created as well.
Yeah, it has human flaws. The bible itself is written way after Jesus' death.
Also, I found which mythology thought god(s) [in this case] were born from darkness.
Greek mythology http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_Mythology

How can you say the creator was created when he states ,according to Chapter 1 of the Yazidi Book of Revelation, that "I was, am now, and shall have no end."
