Taking the long way home

I sent a army out from my home base after a few hours i needed to send it back and i could not believe how long it was going too take to get it home...It was only out 2 hours at the most...

Current City - Traveling to your home base. Army is scheduled to arrive in just over 27 hours.

Latitude to travel: 21.0284696688
Longitude to travel: 331.871858758
Distance to travel: 332.537407177
Approx travel time: 1665 minutes

i sent it to another city and sent it back to my home base again and it shows the same thing...are they walking?? Or going around the world the other way??? is this a bug or what???

I'm looking at your armies now, one is 7 hours from it's destination, one is 8 hours, and the other is waiting. The armies' travel time is based on the amount of longitute and latitude they have to travel. That's why they move "slower" the closer you get to either pole.

I know that doesn't matter exactly for what you said, but if you wanna try and give your army a kick start, send it north towards the equator and then to your destination.
