I am getting almost $5300 even with $3000 in respect bonus. I save to $20000 and get a whopping total of around $7700 a day.
Exactly you can save with your respect bonus, get up to 20k geos and then what... Wait till you have 40k to spend 20k or just spend the 20k and sit and save again
Players that fight everyday don't want to sit and save, they want that extra bit of geos to help them fight more and more each day!

My concern is this, how much will be enough? I want to know how much bonus you would like for your particular position in the player rankings. This is purely to give me an idea what we are talking about. I can see that IMHO a large amount of money daily may actually encourage those who sit and save to fight daily. However not everyone is able to do that, so should those players be penalised? Incidentally please do not just give me a figure, please tell me why that figure is set as your ideal number?
I don't think it should be set at a total and then that's that... I think there should be amounts linked to killed hp. If you have killed 2mill hp you get 2500 daily, 3mill you get 3k daily and the more that goes up during a round the more you will earn for keeping up the fight, something like that...
So the more you fight the more you get out of it and then also not everyone will be getting the same amount, example... The top 10, actually more then the top 10 is currently receiving 3k geos a day but off course some have killed more hp then others so they should receive more geos imo. The top 10 should all receive more then the other players and then depending on where you are in the top 10 you get more then the person below you, then as the round goes and you kill hp the respect bonus goes up... I don't know if this is possible and I'm just making some suggestions here

Mari I agree, I think it should be linked to total hps killed. I also do not think there should be a max cap. I just wanted to see the justification Behind it and also how players thought it should be worked out. I understand often that those who consistently fight almost end up not being able to afford to hold a city, that should not happen because you are fighting. Instead you should actually be able to afford to do both. What I would like to see though is the balance to be able to do both.

Even if it's 1 geo per hp killed and lets say if you are in the top 50 it's 1.2 geos, top 40 1.4 geos, top 30 1.6 geos, top 20 1.8 geos and top 10 2 geos. If you are the top ranked player you get 3 geos per hp killed...
In the end 1 geo per hp killed sounds more then fair to me

I do not think it should be based on position on leader board, as in 1st to 10th place etc, I think it should be individually based on each player. Each indiviuals score should calculate the number of geos received in respect bonus. So for instance lets look at SB , Jaberwocky, Chris16 and Luke.
Luke has 104 killed hps, Chris16 685,167, Jaberwocky 1,800,442 and SB 6,101,780.
IMHO Luke should not get any geos, Chris16 685 geos, Jaberwocky, 1800 and SB 6101. Ok these figures are merely for example purposes. I would pay 1 geo per 1k hps.
If not based on the leader board then 1geo per hp killed or however it's done will be good to see... That means you have to fight daily to be able to get more geos

I didn't explain myself very well, sorry, what I meant is I think every player should be viewed individually, I do think the leader board needs to be used, however what I mean is that each player on the leader board needs to get a different amount in accordance with their position. Personally I think its unfair to give the top ten the same amount, then 11-20 a lesser but equal amount, instead every player should get the amount pertinent to their hps killed.
However 1 geos per hp is way too high it would be an absolutely ridiculous amount of money. It still needs to allow for competition, but not be so overflated that a player in the top 30 could basically own the entire globe on their own.
The 1 geo per hp was just a number but I agree with you in thinking that each player should be treated individually according to where they are in the ranks. It doesn't add up that there's 15-20 players currently receiving 3k geos per day and some have killed millions more then the others.
