Luke, idk if there is anyway to change it, but wouldnt it make more sence if an army of 10k hp killed an army with 8k, rather then the 8k somehow winning and being down to 6k?
It seems like a bad system, that if you send more troops (trained to be better) that you can still lose?
I feel your pain Yome. I lost approx. 160,000 troops today versus my opponents approx. 45,000 in city attacks. Almost a 4-1 loss is a frustrating ratio. Even if all the other armies had max army improvements it should have been closer to 2-1 even on a bad day.
This has been an age old frustration here. Sometimes it is in your favor and sometimes it isnt. The question has always been how to make the ratios closer without needing a math wizard to give us a complicated algorithym...

But in real life and army of 10k doesn't always kill an army of 8k. Neither does it in the game risk for that matter .
Yet in the old version of gewar we had a 1:4 ratio cap. But if you check long-term ratios here, everyone stays within that total ratio(most are close to 1:1). It's frustrating when it works against you, but you don't hear many when it works for them.
In the future we might find a way to change the battles though.

What do you equip your armies to fight with - plastic forks?
Don't get me wrong, I don't blame anyone for this. In fact I like how attacking is a gamble... I have no solution for this and I don't know if there is one but gosh I'm so sick of this badluck...
It's been the story of my round.
Yes, I did get good ratios at times but they usually happened after I lost a huge battle.
For example: I attacked siye's 250k army with my 400k army and got raped. He ended up having still around 240k hp. Then I got a good ration against that army. But look how much I spent and how much he spent...
This is how the game works now with experience. Someone can have the same amount of troops killed in the rankings as someone who spent twice as much...
I'll be first again after today ONLY because I had a great start. However, I'm sure I spent way more money than the others who are close by. Yes, I made a **** load of geos this reset and I still think my troops killed should be much higher.
But luck obviously wasn't on my side for anything this round... For those who are not following my DOND games, I had 2 cases over 1k in my last 40 games.
