Now, if my Senators can knock out the #1 seeded Rangers (and Boyle) out of the playoffs, I'll be extremely happy today!
They've got a really good chance. I'll be rooting for either the Rangers or Senators to come out of the east now, I don't really care for any of the other remaining teams. To be honest, outside of Philly, Ottawa was the only other eastern team that scared me.
How about LA? I don't think anyone saw that coming. No chance they get by the Blues though. I'm going to make an early prediction and say it's St Louis vs Nashville for the western conference final.

I'll say, it's very interesting to watch teams on the rise. I remember the year that Ottawa went to the finals, they eliminated the Penguins in five, but I could see the Penguins had a lot of talent coming up and sure enough, two years later the Penguins won the cup. Same goes for Chicago when they lost of Vancouver the year before they won the Stanley Cup.
Teams like Philly, Pittsburgh, NYR, Vancouver, San Jose, Chicago and Detroit are teams that have already peaked and in my opinion won't get any better until they get more young players and develop them like players such as Read, Simmonds, Foligno, Neal, Hodgson and more.
Was at Game 5 of the Bruins series Saturday, I was expecting it to go better then it did but still a great atmosphere at the Garden, luckily the efforts yesterday earned a game 7 which the Bruins of the past have shown to excel at. Honestly, LA pulled one out of the hat with this series, they are a fiery team but don't think they'll be able to get past the Blues. Ottawa/NYR and Fla/NJ are good series to watch as well, can't wait to see how they pan out
