I added G+ for the first time because of GEwar, i have yet to figure out how it is better than Facebook. Others I have talked to say they dont get it. Also dosent help that i can only find one other person i know who maintains an account.

I can't explain G+ yet...it's to new for me but I feel I can share things with the World on it more than facebook.

facebook to me is more personal with close friends and family...

Guess you can say facebook is a City or State and G+ is the World.

Ronnie Cash was explaining the difference between G+ and Facebook and the impact advertising on both could have on GEWar. Not to be rude, but at least he is trying to do something positive for the game, that should be commended not questioned.

GEWar is a page in G+ and pages can not add you to its circles. You must add the page to your circles. Great start so far.

Hate to toss water on this. Really. But I do not want my friends playing. The way I play I know I have hit all my local friends networks with my phone over the years. Heck I have the game 404ed on the networks I control except for my Mac address. I just do not want my account banned for dupe Ips. If the game was able to isolate people by Mac address instead of Ips I would have been the first one to have suggested it.

Well I'll refer back to my earlier post:

This is not about getting your friends to play. It's about reaching other audiences. Like another player that a short time ago advertised on reddit. Wasn't about getting friends playing either. Was about the basic: getting more players.

Same here in Holland. Here in Holland practically nobody uses Google+, so all the folks I have there are from gewar.
