I like facebook. My family dont live close and I have friends that have moved overseas, there are old friends or friends you know you wont see in real life.
I can share a little of mine and kids life through pictures with my family and friends and they can share theirs with me. Also be entertained with games when I am bored.
RM I do not believe it is about whether you have a life or not. I like HC and Luke have friends scattered across the globe. This is an easy way of keeping in contact, especially given that my childs godparents are all over the place.
Perhaps its because I have lived and seen some of the world that I have friends in different corners of the globe. Facebook enables me to keep in contact with them, and still live my life.
Love keeping in touch with old schoold and uni buddies via facebook, I am terrible at replying to sms'e/phoning someone so will much rather use facebook to keep in touch...

And i had this best friend in grade 8 that i never got to say goodbye too, when i moved. i found her last year on facebook by accident. It was great to say hi and she was happy to find out i was fine.
Also to you have some game friends on there that you dont know in real life but you have on facebook. It is interesting to see them away from games. Some exactly the same and some totally different. To see and read about them and what they have spoken about on gewar e.g spy and his lake house, lukes holiday pictures and photos and then there is people that dont play gewar no more that you can play games with or chat too eg ska and his kids and dirt bikes.
You guys really need to stop giving me a reaction so easily, you're only going to encourage me haha.
On a serious note, I suppose I can see the point of them if I really push my mind, but I just prefer using the phone mostly or email, regardless of where my friends are in the world. As for old friends and acquaintances, well I can't think of anything worse. If I didn't keep in contact with someone that's probably a good indication we weren't destined to be friends, or there's a damn good reason why I wouldn't want to be. That's actually one of the reasons I avoid social networks so I don't have to deal with the sycophants who add anyone whether they loved or hated them.
