Diplomacy = peace
yes diplomacy may win the war but kill the game
So the greatest part of a war game should be war and only war
more players/alliances should fight and make the game more interesting
we've done our part so lets see what others can do
You might think it's a rather profound quote you've said there, but really it's just meaningless. In a real war in the real world, then yes, I think we'd all agree that diplomacy is definitely preferable to massive loss of human life. However, this is a war game and to be successful and/or enjoyable then war is required, with battles being fought all round long between multiple parties.
The fact is that diplomacy started the rot in GEWar many rounds ago and if continued in the way I've seen it done in the last round or two, it will be the final nail in the coffin for this game eventually.
So, whilst in real life your quote may hold some meaning, when applying it to this game it should actually read "the greatest enemy of this game's survival is diplomacy".
Yet the night is long and the pine tree grows on the side of the hill we are doing this to code words again right.
I was doing that to show this thread is going into a weird place words that you get a hit the top of the Dial
