I just thought about how resources could be implemented better in the game. For example:
- Fish could be used to feed the soldiers
- Use diamonds to raise army experience or introduce the feature of motivation (soldiers that get diamonds will be more motivated)
- introduce new resources such as: wood, stone, iron to build city infrastructure, for example: city wall, nuke silo, industry, theatre, stadium, theme parks and so on
- resources may no longer be stored in an imaginary account but in cities or homebases, meaning that they can also get stolen by enemies.
Some other ideas:
- roads can be built between connected cities to increase army travel time
- city pictures (I want that feature back )
- barbarians/terrorists that attack randomly (I remember we once had environmental disasters)

That should be enough thoughts for now
You've just stolen these ideas from the Sid Meier's Civilization series - not criticising by the way, I like your style!!! Luke may need to check some of the legal aspects behind implementing these ideas, or a number of them together anyway. However, these would be great additions to the game!

Lol, was that so obvious? But not everything, some ideas are just mine

Many of these ideas are already in the think tank, but it's good to know people will support them ...now I can't wait for someone to mention attackable cities and player experience (yeah that's what I'm thinkin' about).
pssshhhh attackable? HEY, why not be able to BUY a city? like... Offers and such? haha like player transfers or auctions. was that ever thought about?
Hmmm... I still like my ideas back in the day, i hope some of my goodies are put to good use
