Ronnie: it won't work yet so no point in trying I think. I'll notify when it does.
HC: I believe it is. They should've made it harder to reset. The one that stole Amy's iphone probably turned it off, took it home and reset it by using itunes.
PB: Problem is they totally reset it even when it's locked. Now I will check about police report and serial nr tracking...
Everyone who has an iphone should download "Display Recorder" from BUGUN Software before Apple pulls it. It can record your iphone display with sound. Something that is forbidden by apple, but somehow slipped through.
Tried it and it works. Very easy to show something on your iphone to someone else. You can save the clips to your photogallery.
I love this. It's like a wifi flashdrive in which you insert an SD card. My main goal is so that when I take photos with my DSLR camera, I just put the SD card from the camera in the Airstash and send it to my iphone. Wherever I am. I can create HDR photos on vacation even.
Also very easy for storing music and movies on it so I can watch them while travelling, without having to fill my iphone with it. It's like expanding the memory of the iphone(for documents, photos, music and movies).
If you are one of those that always has an iphone without free memory left, then think this over. It works easy and fast.
ps: This is the Airstash02 though. I read the first one(little bit cheaper) is a little slower. Should you give it a try, then always buy the Airstash02.
People are absolutely crazy. I work for T-Mobile, and the sale of the Iphone 5 started today.
At the end of the day 10,000 were sold already. Even to people who still had 1,5 year of contract to go. They were willing to add another 2 years to the end of that contract which makes it a 3,5 year contract. And then still had to pay 200 euros. Totally nuts I would say.
In Germany I read there were lines of almost a thousand people?
C'mon...I want the new iphone as well and I can renew my contract but I can wait a few days or weeks more. Till I see an action with a contract I really like. Here people dont seem to care they are not getting a contract that suits them. And practically all just for the 16gb. Wait a few more days and the 32gb and 64gb will be for sale also.
Every year the same with a new iphone, but this year it's ridiculous.
I always got larger than 16, but I ordered mine early and it came this am. Only complaint is icloud was LOADED. amazing with so many people trying at once... I had to add stuff old way, then screwed it up, did a fact refresh and reloaded it with aps this time. Took a long time but worked. And then went out this aft and paid 20$ for a lightning bolt plug.. Arrrggg you know they will be on 10 for 1$ once someone reverse engineers it. But one plug was not going to do it for me. The wife i might add is smarter and is waiting. I killed most of a day on this.
Works awesome though, map is piss, but speed is a definite increase especially speech to text
Have to agree with you on that one Luke. It's just as crazy over here. People lining up for over 24 hours just to be first. I think without any question that you can liken this to crack or heroin. People will do whatever is needed to get the latest 'fix'. Really sad though. I mean, is the new iphone really going to change your life that much you have to get rid of your iphone 4 which is probably is great condition? So much of 'saving the environment', the disposable generation indeed.
Actually this phone will be the first time we have taken something out of service. we usually either pass em down or donate them, but we have a touch being replaced that is to old to even donate.
I do a TON of speech to text. The 5 is much much faster and more accurate. So far I am happy except the maps SUCK, I can date em and at my house it is over 2 years old. Ge is 6 weeks old. Huge difference. Thank god I use other map aps more. The extra row of icons is nice too byw. bit more space.
Well I took the step and ordered the iphone 5. Mainly because of it's speed and camera . I am still using the iphone 4 and sometimes even on vacation I am not carrying my DSLR and then when a nice moment pops up I would like to make better photos.
Also can't really work on my RAW photos on the iphone 4. Takes too long and crashes, while Amy can on her 4s. So I have to do it at home. Now I can do it on the bus, giving me much more time when I am at home for other things.
Now also I have been testing ios6 for a few days. There are countless reasons to update. A few however are less good. On all devices here the battery goes down faster. I also dont really like the searchoption in the new appstore(1 app at a time goes really slow when I have to go through 300 apps).
I am not bugged by the new maps. The routes here in Holland atleast are much more accurate than google maps. Perhaps because I heard TomTom was involved with that?
And there are countless google maps apps to install for free from the appstore in case you miss google maps. Youtube is gone, but can also be installed from the appstore for free.
Tested the panorama function for the 4s with ios6 and must say it works brilliant.
Since I did the update my phone keyboard keeps playing up, it's majorly annoying me.
