hows bout on mac? lol i DL'd 5.0, things worked fine. Then it updated itself to 5.1 then things got messy lol
but mine doesn't freeze. which is the wierd part. I mean... does the kml itself freeze? or the actual program? when mine is up and running without the settings I use, it only loads whatever area i see is on the screen. Then when I move to another part of the world, i can only see the shapes and color but not the flags or armies or HB's.

hehe sounds like a "feature" of Mac OS. Any chance that you can turn it off? Did you try google search to find how to turn it off?

yeah that's exactly the problem of GE 5.1. For several users crashes of GE appear additionally. I guess these are related to the used OS, maybe it does happen on certain windows version under certain circumstances, I don't know.
