I was searching for "adelaide hospital" in google earth and found the dialysis station near the place you showed. I thought your mum possibly "was in a hurry" 30 years ago and that was the closest lol.
(actually the dialysis station is a bit more in the east and the traffic circles were the remarkable landmarks.... and searching for "adalaide hospital" gave countless hits, is adelaide the capital of australian health welfare? lol)

Google Earth search for hospitals in Adelaide and have a look around. Of course it would have sucked if I was born in Melbourne....... Or Vienna. But luck would have it that I'm an easy guy to find.
