Training alliance..

As i started to play again and after i planted my home base i did not know that i was in a Training alliance...Iam not sure if new players that come in are sent any notice that they are in a training alliance..If not this might explain why in the training alliance they dont talk , for they dont know they are in one or how to use it....Maybe a button for new players can be added so they see this right off on the main screen..
just a thought...

Good idea. Right now, after setting home base they are redirected to their account page. Instead there could be a "welcome to GEWar, you are now in GEWar's training alliance..." message. On the other hand, I'd expect new players to look around, check out the entries on the menu bar, find their alliance and figure it's a training alliance. Also, I'm afraid this is not the main reason for the newbs being quiet. I guess they just had different expecations of how GEWar would be like. Or they get difficulties with google earth or whatever and don't even try to get help. (The current version 6.2 of GE crashes upon loading the cities, version 6.1 doesn't crash at least, it seems.)
And I don't know, maybe you just can't make newbies read any FAQ or wiki pages because they are boring or whatever. Do all the other online games out there have neat walk-through tutorials??

ps: sorry my post goes far beyond your original suggestion, jokosr.
