Nicklas Lidstrom announced his retirement today. Congratulations on not only a hall of fame career, but on also being a true patriot and ambassador of the game. He will go down as one of the greatest defensemen in the history of this sport. Like him/Detroit or not, if you've watched Lidstrom play live or on TV, you'll know that he is truly one of the greats, and you should consider yourself lucky to have been graced by his presence.

Now I'm rooting on the kings for the win (I was lucky enough to go to the Staples center to watch them play the Bruins earlier this year)

It looks kinda like Regis had one of the better 1st round brackets in terms of who would make it to the cup, too bad he didn't pick one of them for a stanley cup winner. I looked through and unless I overlooked something nobody chose LA or the Devils to win the cup at the beginning of the contest so everyone is disqualified from that part of the game making it easier since the reset is coming anyways.
