*NEW Feature* Sabotage Walls

When I created the walls, I promised a weapon would soon be available.

It took a little longer as I got both sidetracked, and wanted a good, fun and strategic option. One that also comes with a risk and can be fought.

Here it is:
The Commando can now be upgraded to take down walls. You can upgrade a commando inside your homebase or a city.
A level 1 upgrade can take down 1 level from the wall. A level 2 upgrade(the max upgrade currently) can take down 2 levels. The commando does not need to attack the city to do this, but needs to be outside of it.
The weapon the commando uses takes 24 hours to recharge. And as you can only own 1 commando, you can not hit the same city twice within 24 hours. If alliances work well together, then they stand a better chance(or move your homebase to a more strategic spot).

So to put it in a clean list, like Thomas would like to see:

- You can develop the ability to upgrade your Commando in the development center
- After this you can upgrade your commando by going to the army itself
- You can only own 1 commando at a time
- When the commando is killed, you will need to rebuild an army and upgrade it. So it comes with a risk. When killed(like intercepted) you lose an expensive army. And know players will be watching for commandos
- A commando can attack only once every 24 hours
- A commando can sabotage a wall without attacking the city itself. Therefor it can flee after and go for the next city
- You can not boost a commando using geocells. This would make the game unfair.
- A balance update from this week made the commando faster, half the price it used to be, but also only half as strong. Still the commando is quite a strong army.
- A commando can not be split or merged. You can only own 1 at a time.
- You can sabotage a wall by going to the page of the city you are sitting outside of
- Strategic homebase placing is now more important than ever. The strategic building of walls as well.

For defenders of cities, this means they have to stay on their toes. Keep these commando's away from your cities. If you can do this, your enemy will be spending more geos than you are.

It will be very interesting to see how this plays out. Hope you will have fun with it .

*Update:

Before this update, a wall was protected for 24 hours against attacks from an army. Meaning it could not go down another level when you occupy the city, as it normally does.

After this update, this protection no longer exists. Because the same protection also protects industry. Meaning that if you sabotage a wall, and then occupy it, the industry does not go down.

Note that the wall is still protected against another sabotage for 24 hours. Just not that extra protection against attacks.

Whats to stop people from putting home bases in the city they want and then commando the city? Now that's unfair.

Yes, players can do that but a homebase move costs another 5000 geos. This is too expensive to use it several times in a row, I guess.

Thought of that.

Didn't really matter what weapon against walls was created. Homebase placing would always be possible to gain advantage.
But then again...it doesn't really matter.

If someone really wanted a city, they would just place their homebase near the city and attack it already. They didn't need a commando for that. It was already being done. Players that would not allow another player to build a high wall.

Resetting the homebase to another city is too expensive. If someone wants to spend all their geos to do that, the enemy should gladly let them. He/she will run out of geos fast.

Need some clarification on something:

Is the 1 attack per 24 hours limit on each city, or on each commando army? So, can a single commando army go around to each city and attack the wall once per day? Or can the army only hit 1 single wall within 24 hours?

It's on each commando.

If you work together as an alliance, you could have multiple commandos hit a city when timed.

But a single commando can not use the feature more than once every 24 hours.

It would be cool if Commandos gain additional experience by sabotaging walls.

We could discuss that yes . And with that I mean how many agree with that, and how it would work(like how much).

Would definitely have to be tied to the amount of geos/troops in the game, so that the xp gain is realistic and noteworthy.
