Mari it takes up to five days for money to be transferred from paypal to your bank and you also will have to wait a few days to verify your bank acct. That usually in itself takes 3-5 days So it will take around a week to ten days minimum before you can even send a penny Sadly paypal is not a quick option when you are first setting up. I think Peon's way right now is the best idea, it will be quicker and in the short term better for Sage to lose $20 than be waiting a fortnight.

a few have asked to donate directly to her peon via a pm to me, not sure how much but they did directly to her.

sab also said what we donate is worth alot more when made to her country money. So that is a good thing.

Yeah the upside is indeed it is worth much more:

1.00 ZAR = 0.12 USD
1.00 ZAR = 0.10 EUR

For example shelter costs 30-40 a day. Which is about 5 dollars.

howzit folks??? Been a frustrating week here. Job interviews where I am told that they were looking for someone younger or that it's a BBEEE (Just how many B's and E's ARE there in that now)?, position!!! I am still waiting on a couple of interviews and hope to be working soon. Meanwhile I am doing relief carguarding on Sundays for a church-going friend... that gets me abut R20 - 30 a week... well, it helps, lol.
I have also had problems getting to the library this last week... taxi strikes and violent demonstrations kept me FAR away from town for a few days... And they all march onto city hall, which happens to be where this library is!!!
I really need an internet phone, or a laptop, so I dont have to take the long walk to town as often... especially as most job vacancies require your CV to be emailed, and they reply by email!!! With a laptop I can also get my own little business going!!!
I at least dont have to worry about a roof over my head until the end of June as, thanks to my GEWar friends, I have paid my rent, in advance, until then!!! Bless you all!!!
