I killed myself. I couldn't stand myself anymore.

And I even taped it. I just hated myself.
Ah those who knew me, probably already expected something like that
. Clean stupid fun
. Now how am I going to clean my drapes?

Yeah same here with Adobe After Effects. Took me long enough to learn Adobe Premier already. Infinite possibilities and extra add-ons.
A friend of mine works for a company that makes programs for television. Dutch commercial television. They use After Effects in combination with Final Cut Pro. But for Final Cut Pro one needs a macintosh, so I just use Sony Vegas for that part.
I thought Maya was used more for creating Hollywood Blockbuster computeranimations in 3D? Though I don't know much about that ofcourse. That's way too time consuming for me

hah yessir final cut needs macs! and i'm pretty sure i'll take forever in figuring this out compared to you ! lol
it's really come out very well tho i have to say.
and yessir, Maya's used to make intense movies like Pirates of Caribbean, Transformers and Iron man haha, the school i'm going to be going after the one i'm attending right now gives out Maya AND a macbook pro as part of tuition. I'm hoping to work on creating and being part of the next big movie in years to come.
haha, i think the 3D thing's a new software, so it's gonna take a while for me to even get into that, but I do believe there's also extra software like RenderMan by Pixar that I'll have to use to really perfect intense videos, which I'm probably not gonna do anytime soon but would be nice to try out.
Keep it up!Posted 03-14-2010 at 11:32 PM by leonhart0512

yeah, it's a lot more simpler, but the UI's completely different for each program. so it's a lot to get used to for each one. still trying to find some workshop tutorials for Maya, it's so complex, but i'm finally able to make unique shapes.
and yeah, haha maya's the programs used for Avatar, Transformers, Ironman, Pirates of Caribbean. and for transformers, they used renderman to make the graphics look way intense which is made by pixar.
i like your graphics, don't listen to peon. job well done!Posted 03-19-2010 at 09:29 PM by leonhart0512

I now started testing 2d3's Boujou also in combination with After Effects. My main focus is real time videos and add effects to it. But also next week will start to play with green backgrounds to place real characters in movies.
Maya is a little over my head. I did see a tutorial from videocopilot and he spoke about computer animation software also. He explained how they are usually done in different departments. One department uses software like Maya to create computeranimations, and another department uses software like after effects and such to place the computeranimations in the film(example a robot running through the cities in transformers). He used it as an example to explain why one shouldn't feel bad to download computeranimations from videocopilot if you don't have the knowledge to create those yourself.
It would be cool to be able to do that. Then with the right combination you can do whatever you want. There is no limit anymore. But Maya is really way over my head. Also for my patience I think.
Some cool effects in After Effects:
