what would you do if you are new in town and everybody believes you are fresh meat ?
easy, you look for the strongest around and deal with him until anybody start to respect you
but well, you might be careful as a noob because he may has "big" friends and they put you in jail :D

As I meant before socialising is an important issue in here and so my valuable advice for any noob - get your big friends before you hit around.
