Despite the name of GEWar, as I'm sure you know cities change hands peacefully quite often. To help with that, can we have a feature where the occupying army is set to not fight an attacking army of a single player but rather switch places with it?

For example, I've worked out an agreement with "gewarplayer" to take his city "gewarcity." Neither of us want to leave it undefended and risk someone else occupying it or taking gewarplayer's 100-man occupying army before I happen to log on. So instead in his city page he selects my name from a drop-down list for "switch places with ..." or something. When I get my army over there, when I attack, instead of engaging in battle the armies simply switch places, so now he is outside the city and I am inside. Then he can take his armies away at his leisure.

I know a lot of times that I have wanted to do this in just the short ammount of time I have played this game.

i wonder, what happened with the great ideas? i remember us talking about a new border system! a full and working economy! a brilliant battle design featuring 50 types of tactics and 100 types of troops! city upgrades!

Then why has it degenerated to this?

IF you're both online to "switch" the darn armies, you could also just switch em yourselves. if anyone comes around and takes it in that 1 split second, well, he/she earns it.

That's a big if. I'm just saying to make it so that it's not necessary for both parties to be online.

well, then make sure you are, there are some things you need to do yourselves still.
