As well-informed circles told Al GEWaria one of the oldest players of GEWar isn't among us anymore!
doc_highlander (http://www.gewar.net/war/playerinfo.php?user=61) decided to stop active playing!

Who was he?
Let him describe himself:
I am doc_highlander of the Clan doc_h.
I was born in 1518 in the village of Glenfinnan on the shores of Loch Shiel.
And I am immortal.

His first battles he fought his first hot battles with WILDCAT1976 (http://www.gewar.net/war/playerinfo.php?user=16) to conquer the british islands.

It was a nice time at Eilean Donan Castle, a time when only a few players ruled the world and a single player could hold Europe for weeks.

After a while his reputation grew and he was invited to fight for United Nation.
But there was a spy without honor in this alliance as this ancient document (http://www.gewar.net/forums/showpost.php?p=152735&postcount=12) shows.
The corruptive enemies of UN, the New Alliance, put out a baseless rumor to secure their own spy: they called doc_highlander a renegate.
Centuries later it came out who was responsible for this defamation. It was a member of NA who was known as Lukepuuk in this time. Today he hides himself on Crete as some suspect.

In an attack of madness the cruel leader of UN named War_Peace evicted doc_highlander out of UN.
But this could not stem the tide!
War_Peace was banned and the immortal came back to UN.

Some veterans will remember them but most of you have only heard your parents or grants wispering about ...

There were great combats against the wild horde of NO for more than one reset ...

In this time doc_highlander also hunted a gang of 19 merciless murders to secure the world as reported in Al Gewaria (http://www.gewar.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4086) as well.

After his UN-time doc_highlander was one of the famous Lords of War - an old-fashioned Round Table of knights who knew no NAPs ...

In this time doc_highlander worked hard to make his glory immortal for all times.
When sunrise brought his red light over the the first day of August 2008 the world saw a never known value of a single player:

In his last reset doc_highlander was member of the Gummibarenbande.
Again there were great slaughters: now against The Last Internationals.

But more and more doc_highlander got bored by those mercs and hitrunners who overrunned the battlefields and so he decided to leave those bloody fields ...
As he told Al Gewaria it was not easy to make this step after all this years when a day had 36 hours ...

Even some enemies begged him to stay:
You cannot die doc_highlander. Accept it!
His friends will commemorate him:
He is the strongest of all the immortals. He's the perfect warrior. With heart, faith and steel.

But for now his fights are over!

As you see,
when he was playing and own the highest values,many want to hit him,
when he is going to leave,also many to detainment him.
Is it like the tales of Andersen?

I think the key of the GE is in fact the need of communication,
we spent hours and days here,not only for the sparkling number
and the data list,but also for the feel among them.

When we get to know each other,we are easy to be friend,
then the fight between us are mostly fun.
and at last you will taste that the friendship is the sweetest
thing can we get through the GE fight:for no fight,we have
not the chance to know each other.

So you can rest for a while.If you ralax I think you will still be a
great soldier sometime. ;bravo

Also nice reference to me. I still think it was a great strategic move of myself when I was still a player :). Pretending to finally helping out War_Peace, after he had been begging me who the spy was, I named you as the spy in the alliance :). Just because you were the richest. And also because you had not been attacked by us, which meant War_Peace truly believed I was right and removed you from the alliance.
