Before you go posting numerous threads...read the following please :)

A few things have changed.
These had to change so the game could open up again for all new players, and to solve numerous bugs.
There was one program which ran every 5 minutes to give everyone its money and move all the armies etc.
This one program is devided into 4 now.

What changes is that your resources are now given every hour instead of every 5 minutes.
This shouldn't change too much as you still receive the same amount of money, just not every 5 minutes.
But then again, who convertshis/her resources every 5 minutes.

Thanks to Bueth, with Shadowdani's help for creating this, the game should run a lot faster now with a lot of errors gone.

i'm curious though, what jobs do the four individual programs do now?

There probably isn't many people that convert their resources every 5min, but there is probably many people that would convert their resources multiple times an hour. More money in the bank longer means more interest earned over time. I can image there are people that are making some pretty good coin from all the resources and converting more than once an hour can help them with a sustained attack/defense. Perhaps this will be fine, but my initial concern is that it could slow down the play by individuals. That's just my thought.

I good with it. Only bad thing is when I'm doing some serious jeweling. Would put my 60.50 from jeweling +my resource into bank....now just hafta do it hourly.....

If it helps the errors and the speed of a game then fine by me :cool:

i only get bout 30 geos an hour with around 10,000 gros banked so it wont really make much difference to me. as long as it works better im happy!!

i agree with this as i use resourses for the stock market..maybe a 1/2 hour instead of a hour would be better...

Once an hour is fine. If you budget your money a little you should not have to rely on your resources every 5 min to give you what you need for the market.


Also if you becime a donator you can jewel for what you need for the market.

It updates every 5 minutes, it was just down for some minutes because of the change ;)

When are city taxes given? I haven't been paid at all recently (as in the last 3 hours), so did this update change that too?

City taxes are added and troop expenses are deducted every 5 minutes. Add up your city income and troop upkeep and make sure that you actually should be seeing a positive amount of Geos.

this game could win you lots of geos, the odds are not too bad and all of the money recieved goes back into the game!! and its easy to play!! :D

i changed it back to ensure that it has nothing to do with the crons (technically impossible, but you never know...).
