Ok so Ive found I believe at least 10 new jewels today. So that means in the past what two weeks of this round theres been about 25 new jewels!! I think that its ok to have that many jewels but I think that some of the duplicates or ones that are almost the same thing need to be combined or deleted.

Some of the ones Im suggesting:

Palace of the Alhambra, Alhambra - Same exact thing
Shrine of Imam Abbas, Shrine of Imam Hussein - Combine them, there within a quarter mile of each other
Tenerife Island, Los Cristianos Harbour - On the same Island that has under 800 sq miles of land
Ruins of pueblo bonito, Chaco Canyon - Same thing roughly

There are plenty like this, my suggestion would be to delete 1 of them and replace them with a jewel in a new location. I have no idea how much work that would be, but I dont assume it would be that much.

I would love to help you with this, but I don't have access yet to jewel generator tool.

It is possible to turn off some jewels, like you want, but I don't think, in terms of the game purpose, that it would be nice.

The way it is one of the ways that helps against cheaters who use automated system to hunt jewels.

But I also dislike when I got "Palace of the Alhambra" and "Alhambra" too...

I guess theres not really any one person in charge of it but off the top of my head, Huxy,Luke and Ghettobob have access to it.

Time for the jewels to be streamlined....
Another 2, right next to each other, can be made into one jewel rather, is Angkor and Angkor Wat. They are just 2 inches, if that, apart..
Then there is Christ the redeemer and Cristo Redentor - same Jewel.....
Also would be nice if we didnt get the same ones over and over again.... So many jewels and some days I get the same Dozen or so over and over again... Sometimes the same one 2 or 3 times in a row!!!!
Yesterday I had Subiaco Oval and reliant park alternating for about 6 Jewels... gets tedious, I want to explore fresh places, lol!

yeah, i recall there's two madrid palace and two bilbao museum, among others.
it seems as if there was a file of jewels to add that got added twice.

anyways, it shouldnt be trouble for us as you can travel to one to find both.
but this same thing means theres no reason to keep both jewel locations on the roster.

I've deleted some of the "duplicates" - some mentioned aren't duplicates unless under another name.

Realistically whether there are duplicates or triplicates doesn't really make any odds either way? There are over 575 jewel locations in the file so still plenty of originality and still more to come :)

you mean Mir Diamond Mine and Mirna, Russia. Both are (obviously) in Russia.

Diamantina is in Brazil.

Lumbini are 2

CN tower and Canadian National Tower are indeed the same place.
