since the resources is not converted to $$ automactically, i would suggest that the exchange rates of the resources to be floating also like the stock market.
in real life these resources also does not have a fix price... so why not make it happen too in GEWar ??
This was implemented for a while, but the prices only went down, so it didn't really mean too much.

didn't mean much.... pishaw
What he means to say is..
Whole communities of farmers, oil well workers and miners went BANKRUPT!! It was horrible as little Geiods enlisted in the Army feed their families only to realize that even the Kings of GEUtopia where suffering from cash flow problems!!
Rebellions spang up as Geiods could not affoard food not be enlisted in the Army. Finally The Mickey heard and went 'Oh Crap' and took the demon spawn off line ever more.
or something like that.

couldn't an adaptation of the stock market code be used to run the resource prices? the stock market seems to be coded quite nicely now.

yea imagine if you did that, scripters would code a script so everytime the rate for jewels went over 5 geos and everytime oil went over 2 geos or something.
nothing can be done to make the game worth more as in worth more geos simply for the fact of cheaters out there who cant play a game fair.
