I was logged in not more than 5 minutes ago, using my account, building armies, etc. I had just put down a 500 carat diamond mine when I started getting mySQL errors on the site.

It finally let me log in, but everything was gone. My armies, my money, my mines, and even my home base. But my account was still there.

What happened?

Big database crash. Glad I have a backup.

Should I be able to expect anything back? Or is the backup old enough where a new user (new as in becoming very active in the last 3 days) such as myself has no hope?

The backup is of about 1,5hours.

Same thing with me lost a few troops in each of my armies not alot though just a few I think ten thousand geos would replace them. ;)

Me too Luke - I lost troops but there are differencies betwen total atmies screen and the other total on the right in cities etc. Not lots but I was wondering why!

I'm sorry for the users who lost something, but the database crashed due to the heavy load (we believe at the moment).

Everybody lost some so it's still fair.
I'll keep making backups and by the end of the week we should have no problems at all anymore.

I also lost aproximately 2000 geos. This I do know for a fact.
