Pick a number .. from 1 through to ... well, as high as you like. The person who's chosen the *lowest* *unique* number wins. There's only one winner.

eg .. 5 entries.

1st entry picks #43
2nd entry picks #1
3rd entry picks #2
4th entry picks #1
5th entry picks #4

3rd entry wins (picked #2) - as its the lowest unique number.

As a test to see if it works, I propose that the winner gets 100% of Geo's received, so in the example above, would win 5Geos

To keep it nice and low as a test, entry is 1Geos.

ok - seems there's at least one person that wants to try this concept, so we'll officially open the game to see what happens.

Well it depends how many enter. If 100 enter, then the prize is 100 Geos. If 1,000 enter, then its 1000 Geos.

Could make it 10 Geos, but this is a proof of concept really .. see if the idea works, so it remains at 1G to start with.

now we can play lowball online :p

ummm, i don't understand this at all. can you explain it more clearly please? when you say unique, do you mean prime? (only divisible by itself and 1)
and if the goal is to chose the lowest number, why wouldn't everyone choose 1 or 2?

maybe i'm missing something. help me out here.

I believe he means the lowest number selected with a period of one.

IE: Lowest number that is picked exactly once.


Thus, if 10 people enter, 5 pick 1, 4 pick 2, and one picks 3, the one that picked 3 would win.


It's a little odd, but makes sense I think. Interested to see how this one plays out.

It's pretty simple, the aim is to choose the lowest number, BUT to win, you must be the only person with that number, hence it is unique. So if people choose 1 or 2, those people wont win.

Unique = one off.

ie, you have to pick a number that no-one else will think off. The easy thing is to pick 1 - as its the lowest number you can pick - but if anyone else picks that number, then its not the lowest *unqiue* number.

Basically, think of a number that you think no-one else will think off. If its the lowest of all the guesses, you win.

Simple. Sort of.
