recently, whenever i click on a link, my computer redirects me to a totally random website. its gotten to the point that when i search something on google, i need to copy and paste the url
anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this?

Sounds like you picked up a nasty piece of adware. Download and run an anti-spyware/adware software. You can find them all over the web. If you still need help , you have my aim so just hit me up

Yeah, that happened to me once. I run several programs, but the thing is, most of this adware comes along with programs that you downloade, and that really work.. So its hard to find each one has the "bug" in it. I had to reisntall windows to fix it...

Foskasse, Reinstalling Windows should be a last ditch effort. Only use it if you must. There are many other options to do rather than reinstalling windows

my computer was so bad at one point if i googled something and tried to open a url it would open it, but it would open it like 20 times, i had one heck of a virus

Yeah dude, I know. But I tied everything, but the darn thing was hiden, so I had no way to know were it was installed, and how to unistall it..

sounds like you have a nasty BHO.
download hijackthis run it, then post the log on here or on a geekguy or somethin where they can help you.
