along with banking it would be interesetng to offer a stock market option. this would be highly variable with the potential to make a lot of money quickly, but also the possibility of losing all of one's money. for the sake of efficiency, it would be limited to several invesment options such as oil futures, mutual funds, and food. the performance of the investments could be tied to the relative peace and stability of specific regions, for example the cotton fields of georgia. each would have different risk and profit profiles from stable but small return to volatile and large return.

Yes. I'm glad someone (not me) brought it up. I was trying to wait a few days before starting to try to beat some life into that dead horse.

That sounds interesting to me. It would be a nice alternative to jewel hunting and owning cities.

Highly volitile if done right but could give a newbie the firepower he needs to be a strong contender. I like it.

this is what i don't get about you all and newbies.

you are all against my ideas of differences between noobs and the regular players. But when it comes to this, it's all, wow, that would enable a noob to do something!

Noobs at the moment have exactly thesame powers as i do i'm sorry to say.
even after 2 months of playing, any noob jeweling for 2 days could catch me, cause you max out after about 2 days.. not counting mines ofcourse..

and even more, everything enabling noobs to rule world = bad.

For they are noobs, they don't have a clue what they are doing, they should not have big money.

that abput sums up my noob rant for today, see you all in the morrow.

Maybe for you, but then maybe you're just playing the game wrong :)

It's not the game's fault that you're obsessed with a money looser like Riyadh ;)

right, but i think that instead of focussing on something as hard as a stock market, maby we should have an economy first? some way to upgrade cities?
trade, and maby a difference in selling prices all over the world? those sort of things.

let the market create itself, dont create an artificial market, thats just poker without the cards.
