hey idiot, before insulting other sports, read the whole list. futbol=soccer.
And are you seriously saying american football is a wussy sport while soccer is a man's game? Look, I played soccer for 7 years and I love that sport but football is a lot harder, and you need to be stronger, faster and it takes a lot more intelligence than soccer.
Do you ever see this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=a_FnOn_CHeI) kind of hits in Soccer? That's what I thought. Soccer is a great sport but with all of the fakers out there, if one sport is a wussy one, it's soccer.
Foskasse I added soccer, you must have read my mind as this is by far the post popular sport in the UK and most of Europe..
Edit* Futball could have been American Football, no need to be rude about it guys.
Edit again* Thanks iverson I will take it out am having a blonde moment, but I will change the futball to soccer, its easier for us Brits to understand lol.
Just to let you know Champ it is not a game for woose's it is a hard game, not as hard as Rugby but the players still have to be at the top of their game, otherwise I can assure you in the UK they get so much stick they end up leaving the big clubs. Not to mention the competition. We are very passionate about football in Europe and don't take too kindly to it being taken the mick out of. ;)
Personally I only like to watch England play footie, I adore Tiger in the golf and have to vote for car racing as my brother is a racing driver lol.

Wow...normally europeans get all worked up when we call football (soccer) soccer so iverson called it futbol, which seems to be a good compromise and we have the same problem. :rock

Nah because I know Americans/Canadians call American football Football, so its relative to whoever made the thread. Had I made it I probably would have called it football/soccer, but its all good :)

hmm....no. thats how we call it in canada too, not just the US. And seriously, don't compare football to rugby....has nothing to do with it and it simply isn't how it's named. American football only has one name, while European/South American/Australian/Etc. football has many names so it's jut normal to pick a name other than football.

:( He said it was a wussy sport and I play football (the real football, not the one made of a bunch of fakers too scared to touch each other - yes, the second one is soccer) so he basically called me a wussy. I don't know for you but I take that as an insult, yes.

Yeah, keep playing soccer and keep you wuss. You wouldn't last more than 10 minutes without going to the hospital if you were a running back.
