So anyone seen the pilot yet that is out?

I'm a terminator fan, and just saw the pilot. Yet am not sure whether it was good or not.
Nice special effects, lots of action....but the acting wasn't that amazing.
Especially the 'good' Terminator(the girl) wasn't that convincing to me(she is a hottie though).
And the cheesy lines like 'Come with me if you want to live'.
Also why would the 'bad' terminator that just attacked a school make a comment like "class dismissed"? That was a really badly written scene.
Also the action starts out too soon. You don't have any connection with the 'new' characters yet. It starts out from the second minute of the movie, and hardly ever stops to give you a moment to get to know anyone.
Though on the other hand, it wasn't boring either.
Story is set between Terminator 2 and 3. After(has it happened before) being just saved by a terminator from a terminator, Sarah Connor and her son accompanied by a T800 set out to find out who is finishing Myles(the black dude that originally created the chip and died in T2) work. And miraculously they get to travel in time this time, while being hunted by a new fresh baddy T800.
I hope however the series(starting January) are better with their dialogues than this pilot. Give a little more story instead of action only.
