You can have a photo on your city page as well.
Silly I never thought of this before as it's done with only 3 extra lines.

You can upload your city images as well.
Don't make them too large though.
The script makes gives them a width of 320 automatically, but it would be nice not too have too much KB.

How to do it?
Simply look up your city with google images for example.

Then make sure it's a .jpg file.
Just upload it with the attachment feature underneath the box where you are posting, and give it the name of the city id.

So for Heraklion that was city id nr 151(check the adress of the citypage inside the game), therefor the file is 151.jpg

Simple right?
But makes the game far more personal.

On the picture of algiers, the sky was oversaturated and contained many little points i've deleted. There also was a algiers.com written down on the right, over the trees. On the picture of Constantine, there was a semi-transparent banner, down, on the center, with some other caracters. Had to recreate the canyon... That's all... :)

In your adress line...top of internet explorer.
And if you have that turned off, turn it on.

Otherwise just go to the Occupied Cities page(where you see all the cities).
If you now hoover the mouse over a city, you'll see the adress in the bottom of your internet explorer(and if you don't use internet explorer then you might see it somewhere else).

When you go to the page for Caracas, Venezuela, look at the URL. The URL for Caracas, Venezuela is http://www.gewar.net/war/city.php?city=62. The city id that Luke is talking about is the number 62. So if you want to send a photo for Caracas, Venezuela, save it as 62.jpg. Does this explain it?

Isn't there a function for boards to add watermarks to pictures? So instead of a picture of an explosion having an overlay of an explosion on the picture of the city itself? I know this would be a lot of work but it would be extra cool, wouldn't it? ;)

I have one for "Rhein-Neckar, Germany". This not a city but a region of the 3 cities Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg. Mannheim is the biggest, that's why I chose a photo of this city.
