I would like for us to try something this year. Let's have a Christmas/ Holiday Card Exchange.

Here's how it works: Starting October 1st, send your name and address to me in a PM. Also, state whether you would rather receive a Christmas or Holiday card. If you happen to observe Hanukkah or any other holiday in the month of December, let me know in the PM. I am willing to exchange cards of any observance with others. Then on November 1st, I will send a list of addresses to people who sent in their address. This should give you enough time to get the cards and get them sent to everyone.

Please DO NOT send in your address if you don't plan on sending cards. DO NOT send in your address just to get someone else's address. Remember that harrassing people in real life is a bannable offense (http://www.gewar.net/forums/showpost.php?p=30018&postcount=6).

Let's have a good time with this. Let's see how many different countries (and languages) will be represented in this. ;91

I can already see Blitz having to send a card to Peonboss, Peonboss to Timmetie, Timmetie to a real person etc.

That would be funny.

I would love to get a card from anywhere especially if it is in a language other than English (translation would be needed :) ) My family has a tradition of hanging all of their cards up for everyone to see. I would love to see the looks of my family members when they see cards written in Dutch, Portugese, and other languages.

My wife frequents a pug forum (hehehe I know) and she's on the christmas/holiday card list and it's cool seeing all the cards from all over the world. It cost me a few $$$ to send cards to the UK and Australia but was cool.

OK folks. We are nearing the end of registration for the card exchange. We have 5 participants so far and we can always use more.

You MUST PM me your address to get on the list. It's a card exchange -how else is anyone going to send you cards if they don't have your address to send the cards to?

Come on people this could be fun. I have yet to sned cards, but thats cause I havnt decided how I am going to go. But I have to admit I considered sending everyone on the list a Maine lobster... Or a pizza. But both had customs issues.

Got mine in the mail / post today. Not bad, just 90 cents each to send a card to the UK, Greece, and Brazil.

Princess, I'm sorry I will not be able to do right now what I had talked to you about. We have had a number of health and work issues come up that have put a lot of things on hold for the time being. We have talked about getting some Thinking of You or Valentine's Cards together for them. We have not forgotten them. We will do something for them.

Tech it's not a problem and please do not worry yourself about it.

I also received a very gorgeous picture of Lilly today, although I am pretty priviledged to receive periodic updates about her anyway. My little girl thought she was as cute as a button.

I sent all my cards off the other day, so you should all receive them next week sometime.

I need to live in the USA if postage is that cheap, I sent a few parcels off with my cards and all together the bill was somewhere close to £40, approx $80. lol But still it was worth it.

I´ve just bought all the cards, and they will go to each person tomorrow :)

Cost was a little high, cause I want to send a special card (about $100), but it is worth, and you will like it.

Unfortunately I didn´t receive any yet, but I am waiting. :)

I can send you some brazilian currency, and would be glad to receive back some stamps.
Do you collect coin, or notes, or both?
Coins I can send one of each, but notes will be more difficult (maybe 2 or 3 notes), because of the value... :p

Coins mostly but I do have some notes. Just recently acquired a 1000 Iraqi Dinar note and just last night a 5 francs coin :) Stamps are no problem but I dont have any special ones besides the 3 on your Christmas card I mailed.
