My thoughts and prayers go out to Colin McRae's family after the tragic loss of Colin, his son, and their friends in a helicopter crash on 15 SEP 07. Although there probably aren't many World Rally fans in the US, I remember watching him many times on Speed TV. Didn't he get one of his fingers removed after he had injured it in a Rally accident and it never healed correctly? My biggest memory of him is at the X Games last year where he rolled his car when he came back into the arena.

I was wondering when someone would put up a thread about him.

It's a darn unnecesary shame.

Rest In Peace Colin. And more unfortunate for his young son.

I hold world rally driving in the highest regard in world motorsport its easily one of the most difficult ones, and as colin was one of the best rally drivers in history, this in turn makes him one of the best drivers ever to grace the planet.Absolute hero of mine and im gutted.Go out and buy his games. RIP COLIN
