I think think Red Alert 2 is the best of the series.

Generals? Zero Hour? I played those more than any other game on any other system.

Generals sucked hard. Infantry was reduced to nothing. America was all powerfull. the ingame movies were gone etc etc.

I'm waiting for red alert 3 :D

Generals was the first C&C I played, so maybe that's why I liked it so much. Nothing to compare it to. Perhaps I'll hate the rest of them. :)

Could be, command and conquer was my first. pretty similar to red alert. whereas generals is to an RTS as Birq is to a witty young man.

C&C, bah, you get 20 units and it's a lot.

Try Supreme Commander, very large scale with hundreds of units over maps up to 81x81km.

C&C is great....but I still prefer the game where it all started:
Dune 2(or Dune 2000 if you have a pc that is bigger than the old 486 and therefor can't run Dune 2 anymore ;) )

Red Alert was where the addiction started for me.

Haven't played that game in a few years now though.

Seeing as I no longer possess money, I have been playing the original C & C for about 9 years. Honestly. I still love it.:love

Generals was good. Played Zero hour a bit too.

Before that, Red Alert2 and Yuri's revenge was awesome.

And before that Tiberium sun was great, but if I try to play old games, it's just not the same anymore. Ever since I played next generation games like Oblivion and FEAR.

What new strategy games do you get that are awesome? The new C&C title I suspose. I want it... Therefor I will get it... one day
