Parc de Cuitadella, the largest park in Barcelona , opens daily from 10AM till dusk and admission is free. The Arc de Triomf train to the Franco train station is north of the park and within walking distance. Buses to the park are: 14, 17, 36, 39, 51, 57, and 59. A day at the park might include a quiet picnic on the lawn, dining in the Wintergarden's cafe, jogging on the tree lined pedestrian paths, bicycling or a paddle boat ride on the Big Lake. Paddle boats rent for 1 euro per person for 39 minutes. Bicycles rentals are also available.Currently, an irrigation system is being installed in the park, however, this does not impact the park visitors.
