Always name your dog somthing you will not mind screaming at 4 am in the back yard.

My rule of thumb.

Since I also am owned by a border collie, be ready. They are very very smart but incredibly active. "Abby" runs about 5 miles a day. Every day. If she did not have her brother to run with she would trash the yard.

The black and white color reminds me of the keys on a piano, therefore I am recommending something like "baby grand" or even just "keys". However I have found that it is best to give a dog a multi syllable name because it is easiest for them to learn and distinguish the name from everything else it hears. So maybe just go with "stevie wonder" or "ray charles"... both are masters of the ivory keys... either way the pup reminds me of a keyboard/piano.

You could also go with: Domino, Chess-ter, Heffer(b&w cow).. do i only get one try for the geos? I have more if you'd like to hear them..

Dont name it something cute because it doesnt stay cute forever itll turn into a dog and then you wont be able to call it puppy or baby dog
