If a person buys a game, lets say an RTS as it makes an easy example, and they want to play a 4v4 game, but their computer is bad and slows down the game so it stays in sync, should they be kicked?

These are people who payed for the full game, and all the right to play it, but can't due to people kicking them from the game lobby.

It's annoying, and they should out of courtesy stay away from larger games that they can't handle, but they have the right, and I, for one, feel it's sad when a community ruins someone else's gameplay because they're poorer.

It'd be like making a person donate for GEWar, and then keep the 2.5k cap on them because they somehow were detrimental to the server. Sure we want it fast but they have also paid to help at the same time...

What do you all think?

If there connection is the problem, boot em. All this "they paid for the game too" crap is nonsense. If they are affecting your enjoyment of the game, then they should be booted.

BTW, GoW has ridiculous bullet lag issues. It's still my favorite game but I wish that they would release a patch that would put hit detection client side instead of host side.

Halo 2 owns GoW.... Even though GoW had a better campaign then Halo 2... Halo 2 Multiplayer is better....

You want to talk about Lag Bullets? RB6 LockDown had some nasty Lag Bullet problems. There were numerous times where I'd be shooting before I'd hit a corner with my P90 and it hits the opponent's in the face.

Same problems in Vegas too.

I played the Halo 3 Beta. hated it. It was exactly the same gameplay mechanics as Halo 2, just twitchy 12 year olds running riot with snipers. You know what I'm talking about. Kids that would jump around the whole game and xbx cancel you when you tried to get in their face.

Gears Is Fun but not as fun as halo... And I care more about the camapaign then Multiplayer in halo 3

Off-topic, but not really: How rampant is cheating on XBox Live? I've just started trying to play stuff like RidgeRacer 6 online and I don't have a chance. I do extremely well in the single-player game but I get lapped almost every single time in the multiplayer games. I've given up because it's no fun to not even sniff being competitive and I figured it was because of cheaters.

Generic have you gotten BF2 to run ok with Linux? Doesn't seem to run to well with me using Wine, so I have to use my XP comp.

I'm starting to really like the games that run off the the Quake Engine as nearly all of them have a native Linux Port, and a lot of them are free aswell.

Open Arena, Urban Terror, Wolfstein ET. But Quake Arena Unreal Tourney and Wolfstein are pretty good aswell.

Open Arena is very fast past game, Urban terror slows it down some so it's a bit easier for a noob to pick it up. OA needs a lot of practice to get good at.
