Currently the only place to see how long your troops have in travel time is within GE.

Could this be added to the my armies screen, with the exact time they will arrive?

I see no point not having it there, and it's a pain to chase up armies all over GE

It's a good idea and has been suggested more than once (probably at least twice by me :)). It's probably on the to-do list. Hey, that reminds me... what ever happened to the sticky to-do list? Did it never make it over from the old forum?

When you go to the "your amies" page, when you click on a specific army, it will tell you the approx. travel time until they arrive at their destination. It's also possible to find out in GE.

No, it turns out that I didn't read the post closely enough. You're correct. I was thinking about OTHER PEOPLE'S armies.
