Platinum. Found in Australia, Kakadu park to be exact, as well as in Africa.

make it more expensive to build a mine, with limited of say 250 mines at the one time, with the production rate being measured in grams and for example 50 grams is worth 2000 geos. so in reality a mine you would only get maybe 20 grams from one all together.

Just that Platinum is the most precious metal on the earth and more exspensive then gold.

also if you go by real life it cant be mined in Kakadu Park due to the fact the land is owned by Aborigines, however there are other places in Australia where you can find it.

There was much discussion about this a while back and it was generally agreed that the next bonus city should be somewhere evenly spaced from the rest. That means Asia or Oceania.

But how about areas of water where uh fishing? and for example "your trawler will catch approx 1 tonne of fish per week, but you could have it for example in asia, and then in that one tonne it has 5 fish found in those waters and each fish is diff value but its a random number of how many of each fish you get.

We've spoken about fishing many times before - its a great idea for a resource as we could have more than one "field" - now that natural disasters are coming into play they could affect it, too!
