if you have downloaded a KMZ file with a jewel list on it, and you want to go to one of the locatons on the list, instead of double clicking to get there(which can take a while), selecting edit for the file will take you straight to the location, and if you then close the edit box thats you there! this only takes a few seconds so is a lot faster! ;)

I assume the quick way timmetie is referring to is to speed up the settings of the fly-to [tools>options...>control tab]. That's what I do anyway.....

It is defiantly faster because all you have to do is find the file and double-click it. No Right-click -> Edit, Close.

and if you don't activte the placemarks, there is no box... ;)

once u get the list of place sit waaay easy just click and ur there

Yep, it also helps if you have a fiddle with your fly-to speeds in the GE Options :cool:

and it also speeds things up a bit if you disable your open a new page option in options and open it at the bottom of GE. :cool:

being on dial up it is hard to use the browser at the same time in GE. So i edit the jewel to copy the web addy and paste it into FF.
