Since everyone seems to be in a gambling spirit recently, I thought I'd put a spin on things.

What if a bunch of people organized a private table in many of the online poker games available. Each participant pays a buy in of geos to someone's bank account. Then everyone who is playing plays tournament style where everyone at the table plays until someone wins all the chips in the end. That person is then sent the geos by the money holder.

What do you think? Anyone up for some Texas Hold 'Em?

I dont know what others think..But i reckon it's going a "bit" overboard. Using another game to get geos in this??? :hand

We are considering writing/stealing a few flash games as an option instead of jeweling, I guess we might be able to get a poker one for you if you'd like - though I'm not sure if we really want to condone gambling to a game that is played by underaged people, some parents may not like it.

Anyways, if we're betting for geos, then it's not really gambling, and atleast it would teach kids the risks of gambling before they try it with REAL money. I figure if the play-money poker sites are open to people of all ages, then there shouldn't be a problem.

Count me in for Hold'em for GEOS too. I think that would be a really fun and different way to earn some dough. I like araT's idea about the flash games too.

Yeah! good idea.. i support it 100% some poker fun with geos, but not too much i know as a beginner i cant afford many geos but uno.. in a game of 3 or so players.. everyone puts in 100 geos?.. may not seem much to them big geo spenders.. but different categories would b necessary ofcoarse. neways just a bit of fun, hope to see it eventuate :cheesy

yea gambling is a great idea it also helps stablize the economy because you don't make money appear out of no where like jewel hunting does

Unfortunately, whats to stop bad players from downloadinga chess program? Chess games must be timed (approx 5 minutes or less) to discourage chess programs...
