Please? I find it's impossible to fill my fields, simply because my resources run out before I can place new ones.
Luke: I'm begging you. :'(

My guess is that it's only diamonds you are having a problem with right?

No, oil wells too. I just had two dry up on me. Luke, even if I WAS getting up at three in the morning regularily to place resources, I still wouldn't be able to fill my fields. Besides, the whole point of the resource timer was to unclog the fields some, but that's irrelevant now that resource fields aren't shared. Pretty please?

But the timer is to make it harder, not easier ;)

It might get hard for newbies otherwise.
What does the rest think?

if you raise the price of a well/field/mine, and get rid of the time limit it might be interesting...make them 100 geos or maybe even more and you can plant as many as you want so long as you have the money....the current distance they have to be apart from each other i dont think it would be to bad...just make sure they are NOT always profitable...

if you adjust it right we wouldnt be making any more geos than we are right now...but we'd feel like were accomplishing something by planting them...

if the point is to make it harder, why not random timeouts?

diamond: 4-12h
oil: 12-24h
cotton: 24-36h

oops, i just killed my sleep time :growse

we cannot reduce much the ROI, otherwise newbies will be frustrated and posting questions all the time. Besides, the fact that it needs mantainance means the return should be noticeably higher than the bank interest.

I fail to see a problem...

You're not supposed to fill up your resource areas (except maybe cotton, and if VERY lucky, oil)

24 hour timer would do what exactly?

Maybe we'd like to amp up our income by getting more resources in the ground!

Nooooo
Bad boy, down.
That would be a terrible mistake to do.
Newbies would just give up as rich people would suddenly be invincible due to the moneyflow.
Then I like the way of a random expiration time better.
Sorry, but that one would not be good to do.
Look at it from another point of view...like you are the newbie without the money.

As is said before....you're not actually supposed to fill the area(I'd get complains about that then ;) )

true...i know what your saying......just a thought.......then agian i am the newbie with no money :sad

The biggest problem here is that with a 24 hour timer, people would suddenly have TOO many resources.

We've seen it before.
I know everyone likes more income, but you have to look at it from other viewpoints as well.
If things really need to change, then a 24-48 hour random timer till you can buy your next one would work more fair.

I like the 24-48 random time... I think it is fair.

Today we have 36 hours, but in fact almost of the resources (for those who works during the day) are made 48 hours later, since we access the system only at night...

So, the random time can be a way to have sometimes a new field in 24 hours (with a good luck) or in 48 hours (almost what happen to me nowadays).

Or maybe this could be a Donator Option: random time to Donators, 36 hours to No-donators. (Well, I am not a donator right now, but I will be soon... ;) ).

If 24 hours is too short and 36 inconvient, why not make it 48 hours. (and not random) No one should have to get up in the middle of the night to get resorce collectors.

Look, from what i see, those who think they are not gettin enough either havent waited long gettin resources, or are just plain unlucky, i have gotten seriously worthless mines and fields before, but i don't complain its just luck. Get over it if you think ur not gettin enough. The times are standard. And remember, if the resource timer was shortened to 24 hours, EVERYONE would be richer, so there really is no point. Plus the resource areas would get saturated.

Its fine the way it is from what I see.

Allow you to put down more resource 'buildings' before they all expire?
