If someone hits 3 Globes in the Slots, all nuke shields will be destroyed and a message will appear on the Latest Attacks page.
He also gets the mega jackpot(better then the normal jackpot).

But it will be very hard to get 3 of them though.

Next thing I'll do is let the one who gets 3 nuke's receive a nuke also.

i have gotten the 3 nukes 3 times since i found the slots to play, now im really interested, but all your doing is recreating my gambling problem :p

Changed the image of the globe to a better looking one :).
The other one looked good fullsize and was funny...but this one looks better in small size.

For now, I choose to keep that person anonymous then, though I will know.

People that plays more the game has more high valuable cities. So if they find the 3 globes, all nuke shields will be vanished, and the first thing they will have to do is spend 1875 geos to place a new shield on their high valuable cities... :p

On the other hand, cityless people could play slots trying to get the 3 globes, cause they won´t lose anything with that (only some geos).... but once they are cityless, they can´t buy a nuke to hit big targets...

(I know I just took the two extreme cases, but where is the fun if we cannot create polemic?) ;icoffee

I was thinking the same thing, unless the jackpot for winning more than compensates, which means that you can replace your shields, and still have enough left over from winning to nuke everyone else!!!!! :D

Ok this happened because I easened it up. Had to see if it works. Though it was still quite hard.
From now on it is really hard again.

At least we know it works....and all shields are lowered for some good action :)

Probably a lot more who spent a lot.

I spent maybe 600 geos but that was because I've only been on for about an hour

The first thing that ODA would do when they wake up and see the shields are gone is to nuke my lonely city in the middle of antarctica, but i really don´t know why they would do that, or how do I know that... :p

because they are 13 highly trained ninjas, they can fight but aren't radiation proof

IMO, the slots/nuke shields is a shoddy way to mess with the game...

there are probably players that don't even know about this "rule" that will come back to the game with their city nuked when they thought they had protection...

I like this I think nuke shields need to drop once in awhile...just 1 question: what are the odds of getting 3 globes?

It was played to death today and a lot of geos were invested....and someone hit it again.
Now there are 2 options:
1) It's good as it is. People are just trying it out and investing a lot, but will probably do it less in the future so it will also happen less often.

2) Make it a little harder just to be sure.

Agreed. Now changed them from 'really hard' to 'ultra hard'.

There is one step that would make it 'practically impossible'. If we get another one this week, I'll change it to that.
Then chances would be probably 1 out of 10,000.
Meaning average invested would be 50,000 geos to get 1.

I think 100,000/1 ratio would be a lot better than 50,000 / 1 ratio.

Do you know what would happen if MARS got free nukes? Well it wouldnt be good. I think this should be "MEGA hard" I mean the hardest thing to get EVER like once a month for both nukes and shields going down. But as long as poeple have a chance there will be geos in the pot.

One or the other, please, not both. Making nuke shields have a significant upkeep cost/automatic chance of going down when the city is attacked conventionally might be another way to balance them.
