An Army was coming to attack one of my cities, with 2 armies inside (Gaborone)
When it arrived, I sent an army to strike it before it enters the city.
I had 1100 armies, and the other about 1050.
The battle was finished, and I won.
But after, the city status froze in a wrong way. And the status:
- It continues with the "red" colour,
- I still have two armies on this red colour indicator on the right of the screen
- The opposite army is still there (even I killed it)
- and if I choose to attack it again, I only have one army remaining.
What is happening??
Most probably(like 100% of the times) it is still waiting to be updated.
Wait a few minutes, should change any moments.
It's only the visual that is wrong for a few moments I think.
Actually looking at it again in the log, it says you didn't kill the army
22:05:38 - January 1st, 2006 Your army kbsc7897524 was attacked by hhmira (http://www.gewar.net/war/playerinfo.php?user=106) outside the city of Gaborone, Botswana (http://www.gewar.net/war/city.php?city=428).Your army was not killed in the battle, but you lost 821 troops. 1,100 attacking troops were killed.

Is it can spend more than 20 minutes to be updated?
Iīve never experienced this delay before.
After about 20 minutes, nothing happened... I tested the link, converting some resources into geos, and that was ok, converted, but the city status remains the same. So I am afraid this is not a "refresh" issue....

well, there is a chance that I made a mistake, and thought that I killed the other army.
but the city status still shows 2 armies, and I can see only one of them on the combo box.

I bought some troops for the remaining army as a test, and everything turned ok.
Unfortunately it seems that I Iīve made a mistake about who won the battle. So, if I didnīt win, everything is fine now...
But it was a strange bug: one place saying that I have one army, other 2 armies... never happened before.
Thanks Luke.
Very very odd, glad to hear you resolved it though :)
