NYC does not have a 22 million population it's more like 9
/wiki/Demographics_of_New_York_City


But 22 million is correct for the New York Metropolitan Area which includes much more then just NYC alone
/wiki/New_York_Metropolitan_Area

so there should be 2 cities one for NYC and one for NYMA or just a remame in the city titles or population change or something.

i can't put in urls idk why but if you put the /wiki thing in google it should come up with the url link

Also, there needs to be a certain distance between cities.

On almost all cities, the metropolitan population is used if available.
