Today I programmed a small resolution center.
Normal players won't ever notice it is there.
But when someone is under suspicion, it now shows a red threatening message on each page saying they have to give us an explanation, and why.
Also for people under suspicion of jewelhunting, they can't jewelhunt anymore until they have explained their activities.
People under suspicion of having multiple accounts cannot use the bank to deposit any geos into accounts anymore.
If you have just jewelled a lot, it doesn't mean you are under suspicion.
But if the programs that look for scripts keep flagging you as suspicious, that's reason enough for us to take action.
Example: at this moment it flags some users from 1 alliance as suspicious.
Now those users can say they are jewelling normally, but that wouldn't explain why mainly only them are flagged and not other users.
So until they have explained themselves, they can't jewelhunt.
I got the idea from paypal. There for example if you haven't fully showed them any ID yet, after a certain amount deposited into your account, you have to prove who you are before being able to withdraw anything.
The resolution center also reminds the crew of who are under suspicion and why.
I also think it's a better way of confronting people with it. Now we don't need to PM people and be told off just because we don't have our case for a 100%.
Under suspicion doesn't mean you ARE a cheater...it just means you have to inform us of your activities before being able to use all functions of the game again.
It's safe, userfriendly and I'm sure will prove to be very helpfull for both crew and users.
