Wildcat campaigning for a city in his state has inspired me to request a second city in my own home state.
Metro area population according to the 2004 census estimate~202,000
(Basically I added up the populations of Springfield, Eugene and Creswell to get the metro area population).
(I would of used Wiki, but they didn't have a metro population for Eugene).
(I would of suggested Salem, but Blitzkreig said it was to close to Portland and that's what got me fed up enough to start the "Cities that are "too close" to other cities" thread).

Here's a gauge. type the name into your fly to and then zoom out to 3000Km. if the square markers are touching or *just* not touching, it's too close.

Unless it's a really big or really important city (national capital), it buggers the reality factor up to shift them around.

I get it, I think I'll suggest Medford . . . . :)
