Tired ramblings

Yeah yeah I know this probably isn't the forum to really post it but you can always move it.

Just wanted to say I think you're doing a great job. Quick and fair and it's great to see you opening Oz up a lot more. I'm really happy about that especially, not because there's more cities to conquer but because the smaller cities give new players the chance to claim a city and feel the rush and enjoy the game. If we'd continued with a handful of cities down under all controlled by bigger players a lot of rookies would have become frustrated and probably not continued for too long.

As it is the size and number of these new smaller cities means a lot of them won't be held for too long and new players will find encouragement.

No offence ot the mods (who I think are doing a fantastic job) but I tend to think sometimes we (include myself) suggest and add things that help the experienced players and forget we want to continue attracting new blood.

I wouldn't think you'd want too much competition! Unless you join the whirlpool alliance and move North together! Indonesia beckons.


Is the islands idea for me to add some pacific island towns? I like it already.

Extra competition is a two-edged sword but I'm trying to see the big picture and looking after the little guy is just as important as making the rest of the game run smoothly. Sometimes I worry about the power of alliances but what can you do?

And why would I join Whirpool alliance? Last I checked my little alliance was ranked well ahead of them... ;)
