Looked at the GEWorld lately? it's a bit like a properly organized crayon box. which is pretty appealing, if you ask this preschooler at heart. you have all the shades of red with all the shades of orange in asia, the caribbean a lovely shade of green, a magenta south america, and chile looking reminiscent of a blue crayon that's been chewed on by many a toddler. isn't life great?
one thing that sets a great alliance apart from a wannabe one is coordinated colors. here at AO we have our Magenta, Incognito has thier yellow, Lords of War has turquoise, NOAR has thier turquoise.. but it's easy to tell the difference, because you'll need to squint to find that latter one.
I think a coordinated alliance sends a powerful message. one look at eastern china tells anyone who isn't ODA to beware. One look at the united states tells me that it's fair game. alliances like The Last International would be wise to pick up a standard color-shape-transparency combo to send the world a message.
and that's my 0.02 geos.
