ATLANTA UNDER SIEGE!
City of Cotton gets PICKED-on

Starting on Sept. 6. Atlanta has been hammered by a wave of recent attacks. Under ownership of Schlunz, the city was taken briefly by Tukamotton. The first three attacks yielded a defensive loss of well over 250,000 troops. The attacking armies suffered over 200,000 as well. Afterwards, a monumental attack was implemented by BadWay against the city's new owner, causing a loss of over 225,000 troops. The counter-attack by Schlunz proved effective, knocking off 300,000 troops and subsequently he regained control of the city. After-attacks by hurcoll totalled over 350,000 in offensive losses and another 300,000 in damage to Schlunz's defense, although the city remained in Alpha and Omega control. No word has been released on whether or not future attacks will be mounted.
Onlookers were quoted as saying that the cotton was toasted and slightly bloody from the troop losses, but most of it would be salvaged. Some hypothesize that it was a re-enactment of Sherman's March, and others say it was an attempt to get their grubby hands on geos made from cotton tax. Either way, the effect of these attacks will most likely be felt by many.
