Mexico City, Mexico- "The battle seemed like it lasted for minutes!" exclaimed an unidentified citizen just after 28 regiments of Brave New World troops commanded by General Syphres battered Mexico City in one of the bloodiest battles in recent memory. The Minister of Information for Brave New World estimates troop losses of 56,750 souls. "All of Brave New World mourns the loss of life experienced by General Syphres armies" he said.

Rescue crews search for survivors in the rubble
Supreme Ruler of the Kingdom of Mexico and Central America, Zoroaster of Alpha and Omega confirmed high losses from his garrison as well. "Near as we can tell, 6 divisions totaling 51,358 brave warriors gave their lives defending the principles we hold dear" he said. He vowed to rebuild his forces and recruitment efforts were already underway.
